Angel's
Trumpets
Bloom Here

Hand-propagated brugmansia varieties grown with care in the Berkeley Hills. Each plant is a living heirloom — fragrant, dramatic, and grown with intention.

Grown in the
Hills of Berkeley

Berkeley Brugmansia began with my passion for Brugmansia. I often would walk with my Sensei in Golden Gate Park enjoying the fragrant Brugmansia after training.

When I moved to Berkeley, I noticed there were not as many brugmansia — and I hope to change that with Berkeley Brugmansia.

We propagate each plant by hand with tender care. We believe in growing things slowly.

Caring for Your
Angel's Trumpet

Brugmansia are rewarding plants for Bay Area gardeners. Our Berkeley climate is close to their Andean highland origins — they'll thrive with a little knowledge.

☀️
Light
Morning sun with afternoon shade is ideal in Berkeley. Avoid harsh afternoon sun that scorches the large leaves.
💧
Water
Deep, consistent watering. Brugmansia are thirsty — wilting leaves are the first sign they need water.
🌱
Feeding
Heavy feeders during the growing season. A balanced fertilizer every two weeks will reward you with more blooms.
✂️
Pruning
Prune after flowering to encourage branching. Each fork point is a potential bloom — more forks, more flowers.
